Grant Description

Aim(s):

  • Increase site productivity through improving the capability,
  • Identify problems in productivity
  • Improve processes of construction companies for higher productivity level

The project may be done individually or in a group setting

Types of reimbursement supported in this grant: 

  • Equipment
  • Materials
  • Manpower
  • Professional Services / subcontracting
  • Acquisition of Intellectual Property Rights

  • Funded up to 50%
  • Maximum fund of $100,000 per application
  • Funded up to 70%
  • Maximum fund of $300,000 per application
Prefabricators
  • Funded up to 50%

  • Maximum fund of $500,000 per application
  • Maximum fund of $100,000 per application for automated technology
Group, define as 2 unrelated companies
  • Funded up to 50%
  • Maximum fund of $500,000 per application
  • Funded up to 70%
  • Maximum fund of $500,000 per application
Industry
  • Funded up to 70%
  • Maximum fund of $1,000,000 per application
  • Funded up to 70%
  • Maximum fund of $10,00,000 per application

Eligibility:

  • Achieve improvement of 40% in productivity.
  • Technology used show potential to transform the current industry state

These costs will be covered through reimbursements.


Qualifying Criteria

Criteria for company: 

  • Singapore based and registered company
  • In the Construction sector
  • At least 20% improvement in productivity across the board is observed
  • New skills in the company or in the industry are developed

Criteria for Project taken:

  • Project aims to and increases on-site productivity
  • Project helps the company or industry in new capabilities
  • Project was initiated prior to application of grant
  • Project duration not more than 2 years

Step 1

Consultation with BCA

Arrangement of preliminary discussion with any of the following officers:

Step 2

Application form to be submitted to BCA.

Step 3

Proposed project to be proposed to BCA panelist for evaluation

Step 4

BCA will send a letter of offer upon project approval

Step 5

Submission of drafted claims & progress reports

Step 6

Submission of final claims, progress reports including videos which feature the use of proposed methods
