Grant Description


  • Encourage firms to employ Person with Disabilities (PWDs) and integrate them into the workforce

These are the 4 different types of grants which can be applied for:

  • On-the-job Training Grant/Apprenticeship Programmes for New Employees
  • Job Redesign Grant
  • Training Grant
  • Recruitment and Job Support Services

On-the-job Training Grant/Apprenticeship Programmes for New Employees

  • Employers encouraged to provide on-the-job and job specific training for the new-hires who are disabled
  • 70% support given for employee salary for the first 6 months, with a maximum of S$800 a month
  • S$100 will be given once to an employee who chooses to support the new employee

*Employee must be hired on a permanent or a minimum of 1-year contract basis and should stay for at least 6 months

Job Redesign grant

  • 90% of job redesign cost, capped at S$20000 can be claimed for each employee with permanent disabilities
  • Project needs to be approved by SG Enable

Training Course Fee

  • 90% course fees covered if the company sends employees with disabilities for training courses

Capability Development

  • Funding support for unique training and training materials for employees with disabilities

Qualifying Criteria

  • Company must be incorporated in Singapore
  • Company should be registered on SG Enable Disability Employment Website as under this programme
  • Company should hire or have hired disabled persons who are
    • Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents (PRs)
    • A member or user of organisations considered relevant
    • Attended Special Education schools operated by a relevant Voluntary Welfare Service
